On arrival at Bell Cottage we were met by occupants who directed us around the corner to the owner's house. The owner was not in but able to communicate via the Ring doorbell. We were greeted warmly and told where to collect the keys to a different property with en-suite and a shared kitchen, situated to the the left of the owner's house. So a bit of confusion to start with, but the attic room we occupied was lovely, cosy, comfy and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: Amenities
Wasn't informed we would be sharing with another family. Room was cute, but if you weren't careful you would hit your head. your
Was told I couldnt have the cottage I had booked.
Was given an altetnative, which seemed nice, but my bedroom was above the kitchen.
Walls and floors very thin, noise travels very easily.
Also was informed I had to share with a family from America, who proceded to keep me awake every night, cooking and laughing in the kitchen till nearly 6am.
I checked out early, tried to call tje lady, who also did not even introduce herself, so still dont know her name.
The showerroom was not clean, hair in the shower, scum around the edge, I was not impressed.
Ive had no return call , when I checked out, my call went to phone message.
Worst experience of staying somewhere.
Do not recomend at all.
Unless your American !
I was really looking forward to the stay.
Unfortunately on arrival the room was not available due to a septic tank problem. I was also told that the room advertised wasn't as such so i was really disappointed. I was provided with a sub standard room in the main house with the owners who weren't exactly welcoming or apologetic.
Had to share a bathroom which always seemed to be occupied.
So all in all very disappointing.
I would advise travellers to call in advance to make sure everything is still available as advertised.
Booked obviously through Expedia. They provided the wrong address, and location. To top it off they never informed Sian who owned the B&B that we had booked, she was out for the evening and we had to wait for her to return to get in. Sian was very apologetic although it wasn’t her fault, the stay was great, if we are ever back in the area we will stay with her again. Never using Expedia again.
