We booked to go to Alton towers had no communication regarding checkin or how to get keys prior to visit text twice rang and left voicemail twice had 3 online chats with Expedia and only of threat of a refund email they got in touch with lockbox code 4hours after checkin started. Bed linen looked like it had been used with hair on pillows it’s a flat above a bookies the city view is a joke with one window overlooking the neighbouring window next one a road and next one the bookie entrance. Parking difficult a few roads away and didn’t feel safe. Broken bottles of alcohol along all the streets and people wandering the streets at 8am still drinking with road noise constant and people outside your window swearing. Had to close windows to cut the noise down. Would never recommend and the description of city view apartment is a joke photos must have been taken with a panoramic wide use lens. Do NOT recommend based on the lack of communication and stress caused because of this. Dirty bed linen food scraps left in fridge and floors filthy.
