"We stayed at the Irma over twenty years ago and were happy to go back. The beautiful cherry wood bar is still there but is now part of the overall dining room where you can eat at the bar. There is a saloon/bar set up in the original hotel lobby. We enjoyed the buffet dining option along with a regular menu for breakfast/lunch/dinner. We did the buffet for both breakfast and dinner and all the food selections were delicious. I find a buffet usually emphasizes quantity over quality but here at the Irma the quality was definitely there. Our group had rooms in the original part of the hotel and the furnishings and rooms are beautiful. We looked up "ghosts at the Irma" to get information on those stories; I'm surprised the Irma doesn't spotlight that for guests. And I do feel that guests should be told up front when booking that there is no elevator, and no apparent staff to help with luggage. One in our group saw a guest struggling with her suitcase on only the second step and offered to bring it up. If we ever get back to Cody we will definitely stay at the Irma!"

"Very nice place toto stop on the way to Yellowstone. Staff were outstanding and provided endless advice for local activities, but also best options going to Yellowstone, directions, etc. Free key points on the maps. The room was nice, comfortable bed, although my balcony faced back end of adjoining business. Pool was nice, got tub and sauna. Full breakfast included."

"This hotel seemed like it would be amazing in the winter time as it gave the warm place to escape vibe, The balcony was kind of neat but the view was blocked by the cover for the check in. Dont get me wrong it was a pretty nice place just these couple of details that could use some updating. The laundry being free and the breakfast was pretty good... had always heard the history of the area so we made this stop on our route NE and it was a interesting stop. Would suggest this location if you're ever in Cody!"
