"Room and facilities were adequate but below my expectations for “Buffalo’s only 5-star hotel”. Shower was very nice with several fun options for alternate shower heads and strong water pressure. I had an 8am flight out and the valet didn’t open until 7am (no one told me this when I checked in with complimentary valet) and the front desk person had no idea how to get my car keys at 6:15am. After 30 minutes we finally were able to get the keys to head to the airport and I almost missed my flight."

"The value this hotel gives for the cost is wonderful. I loved the spaciousness of the room. The staff was friendly and accessible. My only suggestion would be better cereal choices at breakfast and to upgrade the pork sausage option. Some days breakfast, although good, was easy to skip. And the staff making the bed, could use a lesson in bed-making! Room was very clean. Great place to stay and I will return. It was a wonderful experience."

"This is a true Guesthouse, similar to a hostel, but with private rooms. It is old, but, lovingly cared for by the owner and staff. Private toilet and tiny sink comes with the room. There is a shared shower down the hall. I did not have to wait to shower. This is not luxury, but, it gets the job done, and you'll be happy because the price is right. Also, there are really nice fellow travelers that you will get to meet in a way that is totally different than at a standard hotel. I would stay here again."
