Wow, thank you to Sue and her team, Sally, Sal and Will. What a warm welcome! We had such a lovely time with you all. A well run, friendly and warm spirited pub and B&B. The drinks were cold, and flowed easily and the food second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay. No wonder the local patrons enjoy spending their down time with you!

Cornish summer one day stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming pub, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The room was cozy and well considered, providing a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I was really happy with the staff there. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and helpful. Lovely breakfast and as clean room, clean sheets, clean bathroom. Nothing fancy but just what I wanted. I`m not a drinker but the pub looked authentic and inviting. I was automatically upgraded when a double room was available for most of my week. They made the holiday very pleasant.

Food was very good. The room was clean. It could have done with a chair in the bedroom to put clothes on.The bathroom was very small although the shower was good. The pillows were very thin and needed replacing.
