Room was fine, clean and warm. We were on the top floor with no lift access - 100 steps (I counted) with two heavy suitcases was a challenge! Also, had 2 towels for the week - we asked for more and it took days to deliver and they were thin and small. It said one change per stay but we didn’t have this. The balcony where the bed is looks good on the pictures but it has a low ceiling and I banged my head multiple times. Very low ceiling suitable for 4ft people. Good location but felt a bit creepy in the entrance way. Had to get key card from a separate location 10 minutes away, arriving at 11pm then seeing this message wasn’t a great start. Cheap and cheerful. Better if you’re only staying a few nights not a full week.

Perfect stay in central Budapest

Really easy to find, had all necessities, bathroom was immaculate and apartment was modern and perfect location for exploring Budapest. Host gave us some great recommendations of things near by and we would definitely recommend

Clean, good place, excellent location, and recommended for staying, again The only thing that was boring was the apartment gate " ths green wooden door," which was made loud sound and noisy.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Budapest. The apartment was modern and stylish, the entrance may be a bit misleading but once in the apartment it has a very homely feel. Host was friendly and informative and made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend to family/friends staying in the area!

The apartment was great clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay in the city. Eyal the host kept on touch with check in and out instructions and even sent recommendations on places to visit, eat and drink. And would help with organising these as well if you wanted. All in all a super stay in budapest

The appartment inside was good, clean. But the appartment complex was not nice. The garbage was kept inside the building so going up the stairs to the appartment was not pleasant. The instruction to get in the building when cheking in after hours can be better. We were trying for 45 min before we got in. The wifi was very poor also.

Great short stay in lovely Budapest

Had a great stay, perfect apartment with everything you need, cooking facilities, all very clean. Host will send you easy to follow directions for check-in. He will also send tips for bars, restaurants etc. very good, thank you!

The inside much better than the outside 😊

Outside the building doesnt look great, but the rooms are newly refurbished with very tall ceilings it looks larger. Little kitchen-nook and beautiful bathroom. Very central

This apartment is great if you want to stay within the main busy part of Budapest. It is a very convenient walk to the many different metro stations as well. The apartment itself is very clean and the facilities were very good (though there is no oven, but there is a microwave and a hob). The staff were very helpful both in getting to the apartment and recommending activities. I would say it is best for shorter "city breaks". I would stay there again.

Great little find, definitely use again

The host was amazing everything explained to us and messages sent throughout our stay, great location and apartment was spotless and big enough for a couple , didn’t have a kettle not that we needed one and no hand towels , also I couldn’t stand upstairs being 5ft 4 my partner is 6ft 2 so had to duck but was only to get into bed so want a problem either,but that’s only minor things .

I am happy I chose BQA apartments for our stay in Budapest. Very convenient and a block away from the 4/6 yellow tram. Very easy to get around and within walking distance to other public transportation too. The room we stayed in was very nice. We were happy to find a washing machine inside our room. We didn’t see that info in the room amenities section. It really helped to have one to wash our clothes. Overall we enjoyed our temporary home during our stay. Thank you.

Clean and modern room. Central location, everything was easily walkable to but also has good transport links nearby. The shower pressure and heat was also good. Bathroom smelt musty. No complementaries such as water, tea etc. We had no remote to the TV, asked twice and still recieved no remote. Ceiling in the bedroom is very low and easy to hit your head, the stairs are also very steep and dangerous as there are no railings on both sides. Sofa bed was uncomfortable and lumpy. Pillows were flat. The lift didn’t work. Chairs in the room were very uncomfortable, there is only 1 mirror in the whole apartment which is in the bathroom, no full length mirror. The room is also smaller than expected, the pictures make it look a lot bigger than it is. There are also bins in the entrance which are very smelly and no lights so it is hard to see at night time.

Nice little apartment in the heart of Budapest

The Apartment location is fantastic. It is in the VII district right at the edge of the V and VI district which puts it right at the heart of all the entertainment and food areas. The staff was very attentive and very nice. The building is old and it shows, the elevator didn't work but my apartment was only on the 2nd floor so it wasn't a big deal. It was clean and bright. The only thing is the bedroom loft has a very low ceiling (under 5'5") so you have to remember to not stand up straight when getting out of bed unless you are under 5'4" or shorter (I banged my head a few times) One more minor thing was that although there is a range there are no pots and pans so you can't actually cook anything. I don't know they have any upon request, I didn't end up asking them since restaurants were quite inexpensive in the city. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend.

I stayed in the Superior apartment. It was neat, comfortable, clean. I would like to point out that if you look at the picture of this room you will see a staircase to the main bed in a loft area. Two points about this. The ceiling in that loft is about 5 feet 8 inches. As my wife and I are just about that height it wasn't a problem though i did bang my head 3 times on the lamp in the loft. The second thing is there is a rather perillous staircase which does have a rail on the wall side but nothing on the room side. This wouldn't be good for seniors or anyone with walking problems particularly in the dark. Other that the room will work for most everyone.

Apartment was on second floor and although it was a little small it was clean and in a relatively central area. We only had 2 towels for our whole stay, no hand towel or tea towel, so this needs to be improved. Yes there are bins in the bottom stairwell but people live in the apartments so you would expect a bin store, there was no smell from the bins. The fact that we had a 25 minute walk to collect the key to access the property was not acceptable, we were not aware of this when we booked and probably would have chosen an alternative property as this did take extra time when we were only staying for 48 hours and took us out of our way, the lady at the reception wasn’t very helpful at all. Overall apartment was fine for what we needed but having to collect a key 25 minutes away wasn’t acceptable.

Picking up the key card from a location that’s over a 20 minute walk away is not ideal, there is a cleaning fee included in the cost. However, when we got there the smell of the bathroom was horrific, hair and dirt on floors, mould in cupboards and when using the air con all night we found mould/dust in the morning which had fell out of it and onto the kitchen counter, signifies this hasn’t had any maintenance in quite a while and we generally always woke up feeling ill.

The logistics for accessing the key are very poor, as we have to go to another location where the reception is, making it difficult to access the apartment for those arriving from a trip. The apartment has an intense bad smell coming from the bathroom plumbing. There are not enough towels or toilet paper. A payment was made for a service to welcome the birthday girl, but the concierge did not carry out the decoration along with all the requested items. We requested a refund but have not yet received a response. The couch had a burn mark or tear mark from another previous guest.
