Nova Hotel Brooklyn

2/10 Terrible

"Jamais je ne retournerai à cet hôtel. Les chambres sont sales et très mal insonorisées. On entend les avions décoller très tôt le matin, à un point tel que cela nous réveille. Il semble y avoir seulement un employé pour tout l’hôtel par quart de travail. Si vous aimez sentir l’odeur de cannabis tous les jours, cet hôtel est parfait pour vous. En plus d’être mal situé et loin des petits cafés, restaurants et attractions, il est entouré d’immeubles abandonnés et de terrains peu accueillants. Et pour couronner le tout, la personne responsable de l’entretien écoute sa musique à très haut volume dès 7 h le matin, ce qui m’a réveillé, malgré deux plaintes faites à la réception. Très décevant comme expérience."

"Everything was clean when I arrived, with an exception from the floors (general dust). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay, so I skipped it most days, only had it twice. Bagel, white bread, muffins, cereal, coffee, water, juice, and waffles. I preferred to eat out instead. Overall, I will be returning."

"Very clean hotel with a fresh, genuinely clean scent throughout not overly chemical or artificial. The linens and towels smelled freshly laundered and spotless, which I always notice and appreciate. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly kind, especially the bartender at the restaurant/bar and Ki at checkout, who was truly a ray of sunshine. The included breakfast was also much better than the typical hotel breakfast. Would definitely stay again!"

Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel

"The hotel room did not have air conditioning on the hottest day of the week (90 degrees on Wed. 5/20/26). They were unable to transfer us to a room with air conditioning and did not issue a refund or room credit. We didn’t use the room and left. Front desk was unhelpful. No one answered the follow up phone calls. Even Expedia was unsuccessful in getting a refund. Absolutely disappointing."
