"Room was good size and kept clean. Only downside of our stay was the evening bar menu which was limited and if you are staying for a few days could be more varied.For the price charged you would expect a fridge in your room and the safe to be more easily accessible rather than on the floor. Breakfast was excellent and good service."

"I love this old hotel and enjoy the character of the rooms and maze-like hallways. The rooms are big and the bathrooms have bathtubs. That said, the bathtub/shower was absolutely filthy with pink and black scum/mildew all over the taps, tiles, and walls. I ended up cleaning some of it myself; I was very disappointed about this, as this was my second stay. I also had to request towel changes.
