"A lovely little stay- with hotel rooms situated above the restaurant. Our room was small, clean and comfortable. We booked in the restaurant downstairs and we're so glad we did. The food was FANTASTIC. We would recommend booking a table. We also managed to park in the restaurant car park which was free. The staff were lovely. It was a very reasonable hotel rate too. "

I stayed at the main house with a sprawling set up providing space for work on my laptop and a big bathroom with a cracking shower. "Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence.
