"The property needs URGENT ATTENTION. Mosquitoes in room as there are shutters on top of the door that are not sealed. A hair was on the pillow. Sheets did not look 100% clean. Bathroom room mat was dirty. I can keep going but for what. Grass was well manicured. Hope the owner will spend some money to upgrade. I've been a. Exec"

"We were stranded on the island by the air traffic controller strike. I appreciate the staff opening their door for us to stay at a much higher rate. The place is hard to get to, far from being clean, no amenities like mini fridge, hair blower, safe and etc. "

"The rooms and facilities were pretty tired and poor and need a lot of upgrading. The front desk staff was very friendly, but others in the restaurant were not. The beach is quite narrow and small. There arent enough lounge chairs and umbrellas. "

"We are not big on all-inclusive hotels but this was a great place to stay in Barbados, especially considering dining is very expensive on the island. Very nice beach and good beach service for both chairs and drinks. We had a comfortable beachfront room with a great view as we were upgraded by Expedia VIP. Good beach bar and fantastic sunsets. "

"The name is Harlem B&B but no breakfast on offer. Really this is no more than a pension which at $US 150 per night ( booked months in advance) is over-priced. Room was basic but clean and a nice bathroom, but often no staff were evident in the building and service was non-existent."

"My experience was just wonderful! Geri and Steve were so welcoming and extremely helpful. Everything was clean and well maintained. Geri walked with us to a lovely restaurant nearby for dinner. In the morning she fixed a delicious breakfast and did it very early so we could make our flight. "

"AC in the room was extremely loud. Bathtub with yellow stain, you don’t expect this for this type of hotel. The Breakfast is ridiculous expensive $35 US dollars per person. The beach across the street is a public beach even when it is a gate to get in using your hotel key. Overpriced hotel. The best of all was the staff super friendly and helpful. The night security guy went beyond words to help us."

"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked.
