"Room 203 has damp on the wall and smells of damp. Outside the windows are the hotel air conditioning units so the room has constant noise. The walls are also very thin so you can easily hear other guests. The room is a good size though. The mattress needs to be replaced and a tv remote provide. The room was clean. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was very good. The view from the restaurant was stunning."

"Like living in a Bridgerton White Lotus mashup. Staff was so attentive, helpful and went above and beyond. We enjoyed the stay so much, we extended another night. The grounds are beautiful, the inside maybe even more so."

"Beautiful old Manor House converted into a hotel. Very quiet location, plenty of parking facilities, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely restaurant overlooking the grounds, breakfast was beautifully cooked and served. I’d certainly use this hotel again."

"Absolutely horrible do not stay here!! Unclean rooms, unhelpful & not present staff, things hanging off their hinges. Was also denied a cancellation when i expressed safety concerns about my room. I even found previous tenants clothes in the draws, shavings in the sink, old soap bars."

"Not the first time we have stayed here, but sadly seems to be in a steady decline. Room was dusty, and cobwebs, the furnishings are worn and just doesn't feel clean. Our biggest issue though was being told the restaurant closed about 8pm at 7.55pm, a Hotel on a Saturday evening not serving food, added to that the bar was closed too. Not what you would expect from what should be a great hotel experience, staff all seemed very indifferent. Would not stay there again "

"We enjoyed our very short stay and would like to return for longer next time. The lodge had everything we needed and our children loved the bunk beds. We all enjoyed feeding the animals in the morning the next day. "
