"This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there."

"I spent two nights at The Bear Hotel. The room was small but functional; however, the furniture was very tired and badly worn. The paint was peeling and stained in places, as though an old leak had never been properly repaired. The bathroom had also seen better days. Cleanliness was a major issue throughout my stay. The bedside table was covered in dust, and the carpet was disgustingly filthy. Overall, the room felt neglected and in desperate need of refurbishment, along with a much higher...

"This hotel is close to the City Centre and has around 5 parking spaces for clients. The staff were very kind and helpful. The property is very old and each room is named after the Cathedral bishops. The room was light and airy with windows that open. We were at the back and there is a public path which was a bit noisy. The rooms are fine but could do with some updating. The breakfast was made to order and hot which cannot be said for more modern hotels in the City."

"The room needs a lot of maintenance. The door is swollen and almost impossible to open, close and lock. The one window needs to be replaced. The lamp light had to be replaced, as well as the TV. The amenities in the bathroom were extremely sparse. There were no facial tissues. The patio was full of weeds. Breakfast was the best meal. All the staff were very nice and provided excellent service"
