"The hotel was understaffed, but the staff on site was very helpful and friendly. The neighborhood is very noisy. One night a person yelled in the hallway for hours. There was no one to deal with him. The hotel advertises “free parking.” However, most nights there were not enough spots for all the guests. We were advised to park on the road but received a costly parking ticket."

The owner provided information from olive oil, honey to skin care products - a wealth of knowledge, very friendly and personable. The views from the hotel are beautiful and while not a huge beach, it is nice and cozy with 2 pools and plenty of room for couples or families."

"Our room which had a private balcony and pool was fantastic! So much so, we never used the main pool, albeit the main pool was very inviting. Breakfast was great, lots of options! Cocktails at the bar were very good. Great location too, close to some very nice beaches (just a short walk) and the 21 bus stop to get into Chania old town literally just outside. Was €2.40 to get the bus to Chania old town and they were every 30 mins, sometimes more often. It’s also possible to walk to Chania Old...

"Conveniently located with parking which was a huge plus. Check in was vary easy and the staff was friendly and pleasant. Our room was no frills but clean. We booked a double and our beds were two twins pushed together. about 20 minutes outside of Chania, but with a car, it was not a problem and preferable to staying in the city. "

"This hotel was my first experience of a spa hotel. The spa amenities are lovely and the hotel staff are all very polite and helpful. The hotel does a great job of organising experiences such as tasting tours and day trips to beaches. I strongly recommend that you book those through the hotel because it’s just so easy and convenient. "Had a lovely 11 night stay at Esthisis. Excellent contact from booking. Arranged taxis for us (no additional charge just normal taxi cost) both ways. Owners mother was on reception and was lovely friendly and great information given. The cleaners were also excellent. Cleaned every day with towels changed twice a day and bedding also changed.
