We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Lovely property. Nice breakfast. Nice location. We could walk to everything we wanted to see and do.
The balcony was great for drinks and to watch the demonstrations that were going on in the city.
The property is excellently situated close to numerous sites and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast room was cosy and inviting, making it a pleasant way to start the day. We also appreciated having a fan in the room, and to our surprise, we discovered just before leaving that the room also had air conditioning – a nice bonus that would have been useful during the warm weather.
The biggest advantage of this accommodation is its excellent location. It is just a short walk from Bordeaux’s beautiful old town, making it easy to explore the city’s historic streets, restaurants, and attractions on foot. We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Bordeaux.
We arrived on a day when Bordeaux was experiencing a heat wave and temperature was 40 Celcius. We were welcomed by the host and escorted into our room. Our room was more spacious than we had in other cities in France which was nice. Due to the heat wave, however, the air conditioning had a difficult time cooling our room down. This wasn't a huge issue for us as there was also a fan provided in the room.
In terms of location, it was easy to walk to Old Bordeaux and the river from our room - it only took 10-15 minutes. There are many things to see nearby. The breakfast was incredible - we were offered so many options and even had a crepe cooked for us. I appreciated the addition of the boiled eggs and nuts as protein sources to a typical continental French breakfast. Would recommend!
Start with the one downside: the hotel is old and doesn’t have an elevator so be careful if you have mobility issues. Apart from that, everything is positive. The building is in a great location, close to the heart of the old city. The people running it do an excellent job on all fronts: they are welcoming and keep the place clean and comfortable. I was there during a heat wave and the a/c was fine. Breakfast was just right. Staff were very helpful. Good restaurant suggestions, for example. Would highly recommend.
The B&B was in a very convenient location to walk anywhere. It was close to all the sites and many restaurants. The room was clean and quiet and it was nice to have breakfast before setting off for the day. Delicious croissants!
This lovely BnB is clean, quiet and comfortable. Our room was accessible and located on the main floor. If you have heavy luggage, I suggest you book this room as the spiral staircase may provide a challenge (no elevator). The breakfast offers fresh croissants, fruit, homemade yogurt, hard boiled eggs and fresh crepes. I’m a typically tea drinker but the morning coffee was delicious and hey, you are in France. They know how to make coffee!
We walked most places or took the trams and buses. Make sure you visit the Cité du Vin (give yourself at least 3 hours), Musée des Beaux-arts (three buildings a few steps from the BnB), the CAPC Musée d’Art contemporain de Bordeaux and our favourite, Musee des Arts Décoratifs et du Design (las steps from the BnB).
The safe is quite small and, in our room, not attached, so a heads up if that is an issue for you. You need to advise your arrival time to make sure someone is there to greet you. We were there during +40 temperatures (over 100F) and sincerely appreciate d the functioning AC.

Nice restoration of an old building. Great quiet lication clise to dining.
It definitely has an old world charm about it with modern conveniences like the bathrooms were up-to-date and spacious showers. Keep in mind if you are visiting with lots of luggage, you might have a hard time with the staircase. It’s a beautiful winding staircase, and I unfortunately brought a big heavy suitcase. But I managed it. The units on the ground floor or first floor we’ll find it much easier to manage than my room on the second floor.
Doors and windows seal very nicely so you don’t get outside noise.
The room was very cozy and spacious. We had no issues with noise even though we were on the first floor. The guesthouse is well located and the staff were very helpful!
The room was nice, clean, country-chic and charming. It’s has a small balcony when my husband and I had a vine and cheese. Great location on a quiet street but close the historical center of the beach Boudreaux.
The host was super, super friendly and helpful. The location ist really good, its close to the public transportation from where you can go directly to the airport for 1.80 Euro. Its close to the center and you can mostly find scooters or bikes close for rent which makes it even easier to explore the city. The room was not super new but it is clean and you find everything you need, we can recommened it much!
Small but nice and very clean bed and breakfast property that is in walking distance to the old city in Bordeaux. Breakfast was simple and typical for most French breakfast but very fresh and tasty. Staff was around in the mornings but often there was no one at the desk during the afternoons, but this was never a problem for us. There is some street noise, but everything quieted down by 11 pm.
Nice little room with classic European charm and comfortable space for two. Clean, functional bathroom. Hotel is located on a quiet side street close to many amenities and both tram and train stations. My wife and I only spent three days in Bordeaux as part of a much larger trip. This hotel served its purpose nicely. I would stay again. Breakfast was included, but pretty basic, pastry eggs and coffee. Staff is on site during business hours and via WhatsApp after hours, but otherwise you are on your own. Aurore helped us at check in and was very nice and helpful providing us with a map which she highlighted and marked places to find good food and sights to see in the city. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had no issues.
