Great base from which to explore the region

A bueaitfully renovated chateau more 5 star than four. Lovely rooms, great restaurant and terrific staff. The wine tasting with leah was excellent. Can't recommend it too highly

Nice location

Very nice location, quiet, with fair pricing. Dog friendly. The staff was friendly. For a „wine location“ maybe a bit limited in open wines and possibilities to taste wine on higher level ( mainly the own ones). I was also missing a bit expertise as it should have been the entry for Bordeaux.

Very nice indeed. Staff wonderful. Very relaxing food excellent Room comfortable but lack of places to put things. Form over function. Basin could not hold water! No mirror in dressing table area so hairdryer not close to socket. All easily solved. It seemed designed beautifully by someone who had never slept in the room. But. Did not detract. A lovely hotel

The perfect mix of old world charm and modern faci

What a wonderful hotel. The exterior walls are original but everything inside is apparently new from 2020. So, you get modern electrical, plumbing, HVAC. The floors don’t squeak, the furniture is new but with old world charm. The perfect combination. The staff was friendly and adept at speaking English. The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Morgan was welcoming and so nice. We had heavy luggage so she switched us to a ground level room. Treated us like family. Morgan made the stay a place to come back to.

Bad Wi-Fi, uninformed, unhelpful staff.

Overall a disappointing stay. OK resort with a few drawbacks. The wifi is extremely spotty which makes it difficult to get anything done because there is very little service and you are reliant on the wifi. The food and wine experience was very overpriced for the quality. We had much better food and wine in town in Saint Emilion. There is no shower. You have to wash yourself sitting in a tub with a hand held faucet. We rented the bikes from the hotel and the tires were flat. The staff had almost no knowledge about what to do or where to go around town. There is no concierge services whatsoever so you’ll be responsible for planning anything to do around town and good luck with no service or Wi-Fi.
