"It's traditional Korean Architecture was good enough for my kids to understand the ancestors life. Room was cleanly renovated to stay comfort and blanket was also clean. But private bathroom need to be cleaned properly since there are no ventilation equipment and spiders from old house. I have to waste 30 minutes to kill spiders and clean it again. The host of the Gotaek (old mansion) was kind and had a pride to run the mansion. The village where the mansion located was calm and clean farm...

"Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and two kids the pension is located right next to a nice cafe and a river bordered by cliffs on the opposite side. The room was spacious and everything was super clean. The host was really nice and ensured we knew how to get to the pension. There was a language barrier but talking through text messages ensured we were taken care of. If I'm ever in Danyang again this will be first choice to stay."

You need a car to move around, but other than that it is perfect for an authentic Korean rural experience. "숙박시설로 외부인이 묵기에는 구조 자체가 너무 불편하게 되어 있어요. 대표적인 예로 화장실과 샤워실이 외부에 하나여서 공동으로 사용해야 될 뿐만아니라 신발을 신고 마당을 지나 구석진 곳으로 들어가야합니다. 만일 비라도 오는 날에 밤에 화장실을 가야할 경우는 어두움을 뚫고 비를 맞으며 우산을 쓰고 다녀와야합니다. 샤워도 물론이수요 그런데 비용은 고택이라는 이유로 고액이니 절대 추천하고 싶지 않은 곳입니다."
