"We enjoyed our stay a lot! The landowner was really a nice person. He welcomed us with a warm heart! The place was cozy, nice, and clean. We booked the "bird's sound" room, which was huge! Easy parking. Calm and quiet surroundings. It felt like amid a small forest! Highly recommend this pension if you are visiting either Danyang or Kangwon-Yeongwol area!
Ah also, do not forget to enjoy the BBQ."

Probably the highlight of our trip and a totally last minute idea, I booked this the night before as we would be driving through Bonghwa on the way to Seoul. There were no reviews available for this accommodation so it was a slight risk when I booked, also the booking mentioned no reception which we had trouble with in a previous hotel.
But when we arrived we were greeted by the host almost immediately, he showed us to our room, a beautifully decorated and original style Hanok room. The...

If you're not looking for fancy amenities, but you do want fantastic customer service then this place is for you! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Thank you so much! The breakfast is fine and the rooms are clean and tidy. Just don't expect a heated toilet seat or a shower curtain. Also they have the best air con we've had in Korea! It's in a decent location 15 minutes walk from the sky walk monorail. There are frequent buses into the centre of Danyang and...

Perfect for short trip. We booked ondol room - it has no beds, you sleep on mats on heated floor. There is a small seating area in the lobby with microwave if needed. Short walk from the hotel there is a ginseng museum- it was great for kids and it is free

Superb hostel! The hosts are really warm and friendly and the book café is great. Our room was really clean and the bathroom was really good size. The water fountains and common areas on each floor are great. Breakfast was tasty and we liked that there was fruit served also. Loved our stay here!

It is clean, relatively central and close to a bus stop.
The English of reception, open 10 to 10, is limited but they are very helpful.
Breakfast is essentially croissants, cornflakes and coffee.
There is no foyer, the entrance being quite small, but the lounge, also acting as a breakfast area can be used.
