"El Huerto Hostel was an amazing place to stay. It’s like a peaceful little pocket in the middle of the bustling centre of Ica. The courtyard is tranquil & beautiful, with flowers, plants, & birds surrounding the sitting areas. The rooms were comfortably sized with cozy beds, good wifi, & hot showers. The breakfast was among the best we’ve had at any hotel or hostel. And the staff were always super friendly & helpful with anything we needed. "Matryoahka was a convenient and easy place to stay in Ica. The rooms were a decent size, and the bathrooms were new and clean. The staff were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to check in early after arriving on an overnight bus. It's not super close to the centre, but it is on the way to Huacachina, so for us that was more of a benefit."

But it’s an uphill gravel road and not nice to walk in, especially in the heat or at night. Tuk tuk cost 5 - 6 soles. Hotel is very quiet, but not much around here."
