Bad: not clean, smelled cleaning products when we arrived, took a while for te smell to go away. didnt bring extra pilows when i asked fot it, the reception said that it was on the way but never received it. The Hyatt Regency Hotel went above and beyond our expectations. The staff is amazing, the food is spectacular, the cigar lounge is incredible. I can not recommend this hotel enough. Ashroo with room service made our stay so incredibly special and the security was top tier. I will stay at this hotel every single time I am in town. 10/10 recommend.

This hotel is directly across the street from the convention center, symphony hall, Birmingham Rep and the library. Brindley Place is steps away. You really can't ask for a more convenient location. The hotel also has a terrific swimming pool (although the hours are somewhat limited). The room was clean and comfortable and included a refrigerator. There are two restaurants which we didn't use. We were a little disappointed that the property did not have a "market" to buy snacks or necessities and there isn't anything in the immediate area (nearest is a Sainsbury Express about 4 blocks away). The rooms are spacious. The staff was helpful with calling a taxi.

The best thing about the Hyatt is the staff. Reception team - this time we were helped by Myla, Michelle and the always wonderful Jinelle. The room was clean. The restaurant staff led by Hossain are exemplary; a new recruit, Brooklyn, matches the high standards of his colleagues.
