Such a lovely hotel, staff were so helpful and pleasant, very comfortable nights sleep, room kept warm in spite of freezing temperatures outside, everything spotless.
The breakfast was buffet style with staff always checking and topping up plus always cleaning up and very helpful and friendly, poached eggs were lovely
Very nice spotless room but very cold due to motion activated heating system that did not work properly, ended up having a fan heater. All staff very helpful and polite.

This is one of the cleanest bathrooms in a hotel that I have stayed in. Parking could be a bit cheaper. Good location easy to get to town. Reception and staff friendly.

Friendly staff on arrival and throughout. We were lucky enough to be given a free upgrade to a deluxe double for no particular reason. A lovely clean room ( thank you Gloria) with everything we needed. The bathroom was especially nice.
Great location for visiting the city centre. Shame about the £15 parking fee. Advised on booking that if we had booked direct with Best Western, the car park is free.

What a lovely clean friendly hotel
Very helpful and lovely
Definitely recommend friends to stay with your accommodation
Public areas clean and well presented. Room was spotless but a little tired. Odly we had a table lamp with a round pin plug but no round pin socket. A couple of bulbs were out. Heating too hot so left a window ajar. However would happily stay again.
I really like this place - it’s not perfect but it’s still a fantastic place to stay. It’s always spotless.
The beds are just amazing.
Big windows for lots of light.
Even the rooms that haven’t been refurbished yet have a nice old world charm about them!
The hotel was a sensible price and the room was excellent loads of room with usable furniture and great bathroom , we had a problem with a TV and it was fixed within an hour , breakfast was ok all in all great value
Staff were very friendly and helpful, older parts of the hotel look really great, old fashioned dark wood with a ton of character

Whilst not unclean, rooms were a little tired and dated however, well priced and good access via Hagley road into the city centre. Great dedicated car parking onsite, although chargeable reasonable price for Birmingham. Good accomodation in comparison to some of the more expensive chain hotels. Staff very courteous and helpful. Nice pub serving Bar food and Drinks.

The hotel and room itself were lovely and clean. Great parking, quick and easy check in. Hotel location excellent for what we needed.
Extremely disappointed that we were not made aware upon check in that there would be a rather loud party going on until past midnight, all of which could be heard from the room so unable to get to sleep until early hours of the morning.
Also feeling let down about the breakfast, at £13.50pp I would have expected a lot more variety and availability however everything was almost run out and very limited options both cooked and continental, definitely not worth the money.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the old part of the hotel where we stayed was full of gorgeous oak panelling and high-ceilings rooms with cornicing. Our room (one level higher than standard) was clean and spacious with a large bathroom and facilities including hairdryer and iron. The sausages and bacon at breakfast were better than the budget offerings in many hotels. The shower we easily the best I’ve ever had in a uk hotel. Only gripes were a tv that only worked on certain channels, and no soap in the bathroom. I found the mattress and pillows too soft, but that was a personal preference and not the view of my roommate. Given the price of the room, great value.
Reception guy super welcoming, room was ready on arrival, kitchen had just closed but they made food for me, bar open, kept checking all was ok with myself and colleague, breakfast staff were super nice and helpful, very accommodating. parking secure and only £15 for whole of next day, very pleasant staff and stay.
