Titanic Belfast
The world’s biggest Titanic museum experience, Titanic Belfast sits on the very slipway where the ill-fated ocean liner was built between 1909 and 1911. The location, Belfast’s former Harland and Wolff shipyard, is dominated by the towering exhibition space, with its glittering blocks recalling four ship hulls.

Belfast City Hall
Belfast City Hall is an imposing sight – it sits on the edge of the shopping district and looms over the shoppers, dividing them from the business area on the other side of the city centre. It has strong links with the Titanic – it was referred to before construction began 1898 as “the Stone Titanic” – and features a memorial garden for the sunken ship.

Ashfield Bed and Breakfast
We’d heard about some lovely hosts and brown bread and didn’t ever meet hosts. We were buzzed through to a lockbox with our key. Nice tub but there was mold on the ceiling in several places in room 7. Close to the Titanic and plentiful free parking but not worth a revisit.

Moxy Belfast City
The staff were excellent. When the power went off in our room, they were quick to place us in another room, also giving us a complimentary beverage. The lounge downstairs was a welcoming place to sit, and we even brought in our own food to enjoy in the booths in the rear of the lounge. The only negative ...

Maldron Hotel Belfast City
Same as other Maldron hotels in terms of comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast a little better than the one in Dublin, but not cooked particularly well. Staff nice. However, the problem with this hotel is that if on floor 2 (I can’t speak about any other floor) as soon as someone runs hot ...
