"Wonderful staff and a fantastic pool. The location is amazing with view over the jungle with Mayan ruins visible in the distance. The food is great home cooked and good for the kids too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The front of the hotel needs a lick of paint but when you consider all of the other great things about this hotel it gets top marks from us. "Excellent location across from Uxmal ruins. Very interesting history of the Hacienda as well, including famous people such as Queen Elizabeth who stayed there! Breakfast was delicious and pool cocktails were also great. Grounds are beautiful and filled with colorful birds. Staff was accommodating. Don't expect uber modern luxury."
"It’s a lovely property. Our room was large with attractive furnishings, and it had a huge outdoor area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had three delicious meals served in very lovely spaces. The pools looked great but it wasn’t hot enough to swim. It is a very quiet, restful environment."
