"The staff was lovely. The location was fantastic. The parking worked well. The biggest problem was that the pool is open until 10 PM and the shrieks of children playing was ALARMING and put us on edge. We were on the bottom floor, slightly way from the pool, but there is no escaping it. I'm not the kind of person that doesn't like kids -- but high pitched SCREAMS were relentless. The parents did nothing. The staff did nothing. It ruined what as an otherwise very pleasnt place. I'd kindly recommend that the pool closes at 8 PM or sooner."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Roosevelt. It was a great location to experience the city on foot. At check in, Alexis found out it was our anniversary and sent a lovely gift basket to our room. I was refreshing to have daily (and sometimes mulit-daily) room service with clean towels brought in and our room picked up. We had forgotten how nice real service can be and the staff at the Roosevelt reminded us. Thank you for your service with a smile while we were there."

"Clean facility, friendly staff. If you want a quiet stay and access to the pool, go on a weekday. If you choose a room that is not on the Bourbon Street side, it is pretty quiet, especially on weekdays. Summer weekends are very busy and extremely loud-no room at the pool and the hotel played very loud, booming music all day on the weekends until dusk. We chose those days to visit the WW2 museum, so we were able to avoid the crowd. The Bourbon Street side of the hotel is currently across the street from several “gentlemen’s clubs” and on weekends, loud music is played during the day and until 4 am. The hotel staff were very kind and able to move us to a room on the opposite side of the hotel so our stay was pleasant."
