"The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. They also helped to make arrival easy by organizing a seamless transfer from the airport to the water taxi and then to the hotel. Highly recommend"

"Visited for the sugar mad carnival season. Location was walking distance to the downtown area where most of the festivities happened. Room was nice and cozy had microwave and fridge and the property had a communal kitchen. If hotel staff is not on site, they are very quick and responsive via cell phone call or what’s app. Will def visit again and stay here ! "

"This historic plantation felt more like a family compound than a hotel. Many lovely verandas to have a drink and learn more about the history of the island. Several themed dinner events through the week. Lots of monkeys too! "

Our room was large and clean; nothing fancy but super comfortable with a private terrace and lovely view down to the ocean. The hotel's separate beach property was a great addition - allowing you to have a access to a private beach with a bar and shade and shelter if you want it. But the most amazing was the staff. "Everything about the Mount Nevis Hotel was superb! The rooms are clean and cheerful with gorgeous, to-die-for, views. The bed (yes, going there) -- was the best and I slept so well. The staff is beyond friendly and let me tell you, it's been a LONG time since the management and owner took the time to greet us and check in with us just the right amount of times.
