"Hotel is a easy walk to downtown...more of a challenge back (hill). Parking was easy out back and hotel has nice restaurant/bar downstairs (was very busy the night we were there.). Surprisingly, even though the room was over the bar and next to busy road, it was quite quiet. The only downside to the hotel was lack of elevator but at least there was only one floor.😁"

"The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. Food was great too, great ploughman's lunch. Amazing place to watch the sunset and see the lights of Bath in the distance. "
