"This is a charming old palace with lots of personality and the staff all were excellent. It was a welcome overnight refuge from Pisa after our plane was cancelled. Keep in mind it’s primarily a spa hotel with its own rhythms. And the food was delicious if a bit pricey. Also try the gelato shop across the street for the best gelato."

"The experience here was 12/10! We stayed here over the course of a couple of days for a wedding we were attending and this place is a must stay if you're in the area. The staff were wonderful across the board and the hotel itself is situated in a very scenic, peaceful area. Rooms were very clean, the property was well maintained, and the daily breakfast was hands down one of the best I've had. Will definitely stay here again!"

"Excellent location in Pontedera. Only a five minutes walk to the city centre, the railway station, and the autobus terminal. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom facilities. There was a wide range of food choices for breakfast with hot and cold drinks readily available. The front desk was not manned at all times; but guests are provided with a key to open the entrance doors if they are locked at night."

"We wanted a quiet hotel away from the city but close to the airport.( 14 km) This was ideal a hidden gem. Beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast. They don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options within a 10 mins drive. It is very rural area. Seems popular with Italian film stars for some reason given the photos in the reception office."

"The villa it’s a beautiful place in Toscana to stay and relax , the pool is the best feature of the hotel. In the lobby the is a bar where you can order apperitivo, and the restaurant face a the beautiful garden. Food was excellent but pricey."

"Historical building on a hill surrounded by nature with great Tuscany views.peaceful & serene. Enjoyed Amazing views of Sunset & Sunrise .Both pools are excellent Additional kids pool was great for the children . Wish there was a kids playground indoor pool/ outdoors & adult activity- tennis/badminton, pickle ball court Billiards/ pool table . Restaurant on site is excellent for breakfast & dinner with Tuscan & Indian menu options . But for change & variety we did dine in nearby village...

"This hotel is in an excellent location minutes from the train station and 5 min walk to the walled city. It is a great 3 star with good breakfast and quiet rooms. Great value for money."
