"What a great surprise this hotel and the staff were! I should have stayed there instead of Kanalhuset when I first arrived. In a great location and still fairly quiet. My room was comfortable and I slept well before my flight the next day. I dealt with Ot, Ida and Mads. They were great and even the bellmen were friendly. So unusual, even for Denmark. (I traveled around the country for a week and stayed in various places.) If I go back to CPH, I'll return to the Phoenix."

"Loved staying here. I was traveling solo, just wanting a clean place to stay in a convenient area, and this was it. It’s a great hotel with nice-sized rooms — it didn’t feel small. The location is very convenient and bike-able to so many parts of the city. The staff was great and helpful. Loved that they have a cafe for coffees and snacks, etc. Overall, it was great."

"Asked for clean towels several times and was ignored. More attention to guest requirements rather than making profit is required. Breakfast floor was disgustingly sticky with dropped produce. A rethink of delivery systems for yoghurt syrup sugar etc needs to be thought through."

"The breakfast selection at this hotel was amazing and caters for all dietary needs, but the beds in the room we had were of poor quality and not particularly clean, particularly under the mattresses where there were lots of dirt and hair and the sheets covering the bed frames had holes in and didn’t appear to have been changed in a while."

"Great stay. Water pressure was a little low but that didn’t bother us. The train station is really close by which made the whole of Copenhagen accessible. Very easy."
