"Great location. Not quite as fancy as the photos look. But a decent room for the price. The bed could be softer. Our bathroom sink was draining super slow, which made the plumbing give off a creepy, gurgling sound ALLLL night long. Hallways definitely need some paint jobs. Bellboy was great."

"WE loved staying there. The location is super central, the carousel and the lounge are interesting experiences and the creole restaurant’s food was really good, special attention to the bignets which were better than cafe du kinds and Loretta. We’d stay there again if we ever come back to town"

"The pipes made crazy noise in the middle of the night for extra periods of time. "

"The hotel is located nicely in the French Quarter and has a charming courtyard. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Unfortunately the condition of our room had us spending as much time as possible in the open-air courtyard. Dusty/dirty floors, dirty/smudgy door, well-worn furnishings. The air filter for the A/C in our room was caked with dirt and dust. As a result, the air quality in the room was poor, leaving the smell from the partially-cleaned bathroom lingering. The shower had a slow drain, and the sink drain was even slower, eventually not draining at all. In the middle of our stay, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. There was no explanation from staff as to what happened or why, which was surprising. I have pics, but they probably will not be well received."
