"Such a beautiful & historical property. Wonderful staff on site and supportive remote customer service team. Many gorgeous furnishings, artwork and high standards across the board. Tranquil and idyllic setting by the river, surrounded by nature and a short stroll into bustly Bangalow. A truly magnificent place to stay."

"I would like to say, unfortunately our stay was somewhat underwhelming. I get that it was Christmas Eve, and an unmanned reception maybe unavoidable. The room was reasonably comfortable ,simple but basic. Although the broken toilet seat was a bit of a pain in the butt. I was a little unnerved but the rotten door step that felt as if it was going to give way underfoot along with the deck in that area. However, the view and the sounds of birds from the deck was pretty nice and relaxing. Almost as nice as the complimentary cooked breakfast we paid for.....oh sorry we did not get that. Mainly because there was no one Manning reception. Anyhow, would I recommend a stay. Hmm maybe, maybe not. "

"Do not book the Studio room! Upgrade to the Villa or don’t stay here. The Studio rooms are barely bigger than a prison cell and are nowhere near 5 star hotel quality. The property is neat and the staff are so nice. Just don’t book the Studio rooms. "
