This was my first stay at The Caribou. Been to Banff many times and always stayed elsewhere. The hotel is on the outskirts of the main Banff strip but not too far to walk, about 15 mins with good footwear. We were there in Dec so it was chilly and snowy so proper boots are a must. Pros. The unit was super clean and well presented and well appointed and check in was efficient. They provide complementary bus passes to downtown Banff, pool area was nice and clean. Cons. Our unit was dark even with lights on
