"This is more a hostel than a family room. We had to take off our shoes at the house entrance but the floors were dirty and hair balls on the bathroom floor. The yard is run down and very cheap furnishings. I paid way too much at 247.92 to sleep on Ikea bunk beds. Communication was poor as I tried contacting them multiple times with no response. Im concerned as to why they are called Bellavista on Expedia but when you get there it is Forty Winks."

"The greatest benefit to this property is the amazing location But the rest of it should be viewed as a camping experience or a week in basic accommodation in Greece lol Some of the neighbours were very noisy slamming doors and someone was smoking weed in a room near us as it stank the whole corridor out Don't expect too much and you should be ok We would stay here again but I would have to get them to sort out shower tap as it was nearly impossible to turn it on or off . "We enjoyed our stay in Callendar, staying in a spacious family room, which had an interconnecting room for our boys. Room was comfortable and well furnished. The only downside was the shower pressure being weak. Enjoyed an evening meal at the hotels Indian restaurant which was very nice. We ate in their separate dining room ‘snug’ so had the space to ourselves."

"I stayed here for two nights by myself. The guy who owns the place is friendly and put on a nice continental breakfast (salmon, cheese, eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and brewed coffee). The bed was comfortable too. The building and furniture are pretty dated though and in need of upgrading. My room door lock was also temperamental. However, that said it was clean overall and the host mentioned he’s actively renovating, which is good to hear as it’s got potential to be a beautiful building...
