Extremely quiet and serene country setting, great breakfast, very hospitable hosts, and quite central to Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Aran Islands. The natural spring was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again

The quite location was outstanding, we loved the sitting rooms with the fireplaces and the breakfast was far beyond our expectations. By far the best breakfast of our entire trip.

Absolutely magical find nestled in the Irish countryside. The host was top notch from our first interaction through our last. The property is adorable and really makes you feel like you are experiencing Ireland. Wonderful breakfast, beautiful room, easy to park and did I say charming host! Don't look twice if you need a place in this area. Easy drive to the Cliffs of Moher too.

Nice, "off the beaten path" place.
The Country house turned out to be a great last minute booking for my wife and I as we drove around Ireland. We were a bit skeptical as we drove down the crazy Irish off-road to get there, but ended up really enjoying the quite location. Wolfgang and his staff were great and the Irish breakfast was everything we expected. Only note, the lack of a television in the room threw my wife off a bit. Just different than we're used to, that's all.

One word: MAGICAL! This was our first trip to Ireland and this was our FAVORITE stay!! Our hosts Maria and Wolfgang are natural hosts and couldn't have made our stay any better or make us feel more welcome! The Full Irish Breakfast was the best we had in Ireland, it was so nice to visit with the hosts and hear a bit about the location and wonderful suggestion for dinner. Our room overlooked the green beauty that is Ireland and honestly, the stay here really helped make our first trip so memorable. Thank you Maria and Wolfgang!!

Great location immersed in nature
Wolfgang’s hospitality and the idillic location in the Burren makes this a very unique and peaceful experience. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. It felt like we were hosted by family. We were very pleased by the availability of a taxi to the small town for dinner.

Wolfgang and his wife, Maria, were delightful hosts. Beds were comfortable and breakfast yummy. My only issue was that a bat got in our room (no screens on the windows) and this was a bit unexpected.

Perfect location centrally located from Galway, the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, and Doolin. Wolfgang and Maria are wonderful hosts! Service and morning breakfast were first rate. Local restaurants with live Irish and non Irish music.

The Waters Hotel was the highlight of our trip. It's the place we keep talking about when we reminisce about our vacation. The location is beautiful and green and quiet. The proprietors were so welcoming and kind. The breakfast was delicious and started our days off right. The room felt like stepping back in time in the best way. It was comfortable and completely wonderful. We would go back in a heartbeat.

What an amazing place to stay. We had three rooms for our group of 5. A room with two twins, a room with a king and one of the suites. The suite is AMAZING. The furnishings, decorations, linens and everything were perfect. The owners are just absolutely amazing. There are free coffee, tea stations. Three sitting rooms with chess, fireplaces and TVs. Water pressure was great and super hot water. Also the natural spring that you fill your water container for your room was so unique. Breakfast was the best we've had so far. I could just go on and on. If your anywhere near the cliffs and need somewhere to stay, this is the place.

The Waters is a must-stay. It is in a gorgeous location, the inn is appointed beautifully, and Wolfgang and Maria treat you like family. This is in a remote part of County Clare and is a perfect location to see the Burren.

Wonderful charm and character.
Two couples, two rooms, three nights. We very much enjoyed our stay. Waters Country House is off the beaten path but the charm and peace and access to the grounds and various sitting rooms is refreshing. The owners are charming, engaging, and go out of their way to welcome and make your stay pleasant such as lending us umbrellas when a sudden down poor of rain erupted just as we were checking in and had left all our own rain gear in our car. The personally cooked to order breakfasts are wonderful. Rooms are a bit tight but very accommodating. Would return again and again.

What a beautiful property, stunning!! Wolfgang & Maria are absolutely amazing hosts - kind, welcoming, they make you feel like family. The rooms are large and comfortable with breathtaking views. The main house has a few sitting rooms, each with a fire place, books and games. Really lovely outside and inside.

This was the b&b i was excited about, and it didn't disappoint! The building is set in beautiful country side, the common rooms offer just an experience, warm and intriguing, and the owners were absolutely lovely. It is also well located to the town nearby where we had great dinner at the Monks. Only downside, our room was not very sound proof and the shower curtain is not the best experience! The bed was very comfortable and the room very pretty. Thank you for hosting us 🙂
