"A nice modern hotel on the outskirts of town. Huge room well equipped but let down by housekeeping who failed to clean a hair from the shower floor and wall before we arrived. I decided to have a bath instead but there was no plug! Staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was good."

"We found the hotel clean, modern and well laid out. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful without exception. Our room was comfortable and served our purposes perfectly. "We had a great stay at the G. The hotel is just outside of the city center, close enough to walk, easy enough to grab a car and be there in a few minutes. There is a small shopping center directly behind the hotel if you need anything. The staff is incredibly helpful with anything you need or just to have a chat. The lounge and restaurant are beautifully appointed with nice views of lake. The food is some of the best food we ate in London and Ireland. The rooms are spacious and clean and have great space to hang your clothes and put everything away so you feel at home. We would highly recommend staying at the G while in Galway!"
