A tiny hotel next to the Balcony Walk, with an absolutely wonderful staff. The room itself was nice even if a bit basic (it did have, however, flushing toilet, a hot shower, and AC). The hotel provided a dinner and a breakfast, which were delicious and abundant. The location couldn’t be better. The sunrise view is hands down something to be remembered for life.
We noticed a few downsides - no dealbreakers and no major issues, but something to keep in mind. Firstly, if you’re afraid of spiders...

Very comfortable rooms set around pretty courtyards - one with a lovely pool and another where we ate breakfast and dinner. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food was good. It was pleasant to be able to get a glass of wine or a cocktail- rare in Oman

Wonderful place. The service was the best we’ve experienced in the Gulf/M.E, Omani guides were so welcoming and knowledgable (great to see local people/economy supported). The food is pricey but everything we ate, we loved! I’d advise arriving at dusk - the resort looks its best at this time. Also bring mosquito repellent (or ask at front desk - they’ll give it free :) as it’s not too high or dry for knats! My only slight disappointment was the misleading photography of the place on every...

It was a great location wit great mountain view. A special accomodation apart from 'standard' due to the local animals on the spot and because the owner cared about every detail to make his guests happy. Complementay minibar, coffee and and water shows their dedication. They also have many great infos to discover the spot and Nizwa. Great stay!
