"If you are on a pilgrimage to experience the life of St. Brigid, this is a wonderful place for the journey. It is directly next door to the Cathedral. The Firecastle Market next door is, I presume, owned by the same people. They were so gracious and helpful. Let me store my bags in their tiny office so I could continue to explore. Truly wonderful hospitality all the way around no matter what your reason for visiting Kildare."

"A wonderful peaceful 3-day stop staying in the superior lodge room. The room itself comprised a spacious living area and a similarly large bedroom set a short walk from the castle itself. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was superb with a great selection of high quality options. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area."

"Rooms, lodges and restaurants outstanding. Food was wonderful. Our server at the Barton Grill was brilliant! This is a 5 star property and overall lived up to that. We had an issue with vouchers that were purchased for us as a gift. One staff at the golf course was somewhat...aloft...ok, curt but rest of staff and hotel staff were great. I do feel were somewhat shorted on the vouchers and left a sour taste."

"The breakfast was really good. Be prepared that there is no air conditioning. Even though the temperature outside was highs in the upper 60s, lower 70s, the room was really hot. There was a small fan provided, but we were still uncomfortable. Would not stay here again because of this."

"Glashaus disappoints because of its location and overall setup. It doesn't "feel" like a hotel, it feels like an office. The map app will give you a notice that you have arrived and you are literally next to a running trolley with no ability to stop. We parked in a paid lot and had to walk across the trolley to find the entrance to the hotel which was around the corner. The parking facility is another adventure as you have to navigate to it after walking back to your car. The key access to...
