"Stayed for 3 nights and was amazed overall by this accommodation which exceeded our expectations. Smart frontage and free parking in a quiet residentially focussed part of the town but just minutes walk from the high street and St Anne’s Pier. Remote electronic entry to main and apartment doors worked flawlessly and some lovely touches on arrival such as chilled bottled water and milk with a suitable stock of tea/coffee etc. Fans in each room were a welcome addition as the country basked in the...
"This is a wonderful place to stay. It has a car park at the rear and 3 parking spots at the front. It is very secure with a personal PIN provided before book in for the doors. Very clean and smart. Big comfy bed in room 6 anyway. Nice little kitchenette. Fridge, kettle, coffee machine. Lovely shower. If I had to pick fault it would be the awful washing up liquid. It must be watered down, it does very little indeed! The flat is near to all restaurants and a Whetherspoons. Lots of coffee bars. The...
"The room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We stayed over the weekend and there was a wedding on both the Friday and Saturday but there was no problem with the noise. But on the Saturday the staff were under pressure and when we went to the bar to get a drink after dinner we were told we would have to wait as he was busy doing something else, when 15 minutes had passed we went back to the bar, ordered some drinks and an Irish coffee when it finally arrived it was...
"This is our 3rd visit to the Dalmeny and will not be our last Came with my 4 grandchildren and their parents. Family rooms spacious and comfortable. Meal options were good and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities for the children were great."
"Really nice location. Very pleasant and professional staff. Clean, modern and spacious executive suite. Easy parking....great bed. Food excellent. Nothing to fault...its excellent."
"There were no wardrobe or drawers in the bedroom only a rail under a small shelf which only had 4 coathangers. Perhaps 2 small bedside drawers would help a little and a small chest of drawers under the rail. We didn't have a tea towel which I think could possibly have been an oversight by the cleaner and maybe a small amount of milk so we could have a drink on arrival although we did have some biscuits."
"We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.
The decision was made...
"Place is managed by one man Tom who was very nice ...Owner was off to Birmingham as we arrived and another lady disappeared when I spoke to her so not much of a welcome . Place needs work and cleaning tbh ... Basic standards are a must especially in a town with so much competition.. Hotel had two names which doesn't help.Think we were the only ones there but we were the only ones for breakfast ... Took a while to get any response from anyone as place was deserted but got there in the end ...Tom...
