"More like Motel 6, its like sleeping on a platform bed with no mattress very uncomfortable the bedding was dinghy, floors in room was dirty double bed room is very small only suitable for 2 guest no towels or washcloths, employee availability on staffing extremely poor "

"Our recent two-night stay at this Wingate by Wyndham location was very disappointing and reflected a number of maintenance and operational issues that should have been addressed before guests were assigned to the room. We booked a king room with a sofa bed, but were given only a standard king room. The front desk provided a rollaway cot as a workaround, which required us to rearrange the room to make space. Compounding the issue, the elevator was not working and we were assigned a room on the 5th floor, which was difficult while traveling with two children and luggage. The room itself had several clear maintenance problems that suggested it had not been properly checked prior to our arrival. These included a bathroom faucet that broke off, making the sink difficult to use, a cracked refrigerator that made a constant ticking noise that disrupted sleep, not enough towels provided, incorrect time on both the microwave and the clock, visible baseboard damage, and a lamp with no bulb. To be fair, the front desk staff member was polite and tried to assist, but many of these issues point to larger property maintenance and quality control concerns that management should address. Guests should reasonably expect that rooms are properly inspected, functional, and match the room type that was booked. Hopefully management takes steps to resolve these issues so future guests have a better experience than we did."

"This was the nastiest place ever. Checked in, and checked immediately out after going in the room. It stunk like crazy. A bunch of sketchy people were hanging out ruining up and down the hall. We had to last minute pay a crazy rate elsewhere because there we're not a lot of places with rooms left, due to some events that weekend. No refund because we checked in later than the 3:00pm check in time. $900.00 for a 2 night stay in Richmond."

"The property was undergoing renovation which was not mentioned prior to booking. The 2nd floor where I stayed was a dusty and smelly as was my room. I had the most awful night unable to sleep due to the dust and odor. A true "bait and switch" operation."

"This picture is completely deceptive. I picked this because of good review, but my non-smoking room wreaked of smoke, was nasty and I felt very unsafe. I did not want my feet to touch the floor. I was so disappointed and I had trouble with my reservation not want to be recognized. I have never stayed in a worse place."
