The staff was very friendly. The only concern I had as I had to book a second day separately from my first day. When I arrived, I try to check in for both days consecutively and the person on the staff said I would have to come to the desk the second day and check in again, although keep in the same room the morning on the second day, I come in to the office try to check in for the second day staff tells me I’m all set nothing to do you’re all set then halfway through the second day my key gets shut off because I have to go to the office and get my key turned back on because I had to sign for the second day it seems very inadequate and a waste of my time..

For an overnight room wasn't bad. No Breakfast, but close restaurants and the AVL regional airport about 5 minutes down the road. Hot shower, average beds. Microwave and mini fridge.

The property needs a upgrade the plugs in the wall dont work the door look like it needs to be replaced. The bed was uncomfortable. But it was very quiet and away from the main traffic

It was okay. It worked for the trip. The check in and check out staff was wonderful. There was a barking dog someplace near our room. I would stay again. Of course you can’t make a teenager happy.

Very quaint and nice stay, especially for the affordability. The young lady at check in was very sweet and helpful with all of our questions. The beds were comfortable and room clean. Only slight questionable moment was that the a/c unit took a while to cool the room and it was very hot when we got in. But once it cooled, we were feeling great! The cleaning staff was also very kind and even helped my mom get her bag to the car. Great stay!!!

The place itself was super clean! The beds were comfortable and the ac was absolutely cold!! It froze us out multiple times! The only problems was the huge space in the top of the door that bugs were crawling/flying in at times and the fact that the chain lock didn’t work at all. It wasn’t even screwed in. We only had a deadbolt which was safe but I would have liked that extra security.

Completely Disappointed

If you needed something done the housekeeping people would gladly help. They were friendly and kind. However, the staff at the front desk took out a lot more money than my reservation said. It was always between $12 and $20 dollars more than what hotels.com quoted me. Also, what the front desk said and what they did was always different.The rooms could have been better equipped as well. When my time was up i went to a different hotel.

Definitely an old hotel. The room doors are not secure on frame. Had to request a different room. Big gap and bottom of door. Room smells muggy and like cigarettes. The tub was not clean. Housekeeping came in while i was out, and only removed the trash bag. Didn't make beds or clean anything. Guy in front office was nice. Other guest were loud with music, but did quiet down at 10pm

Not my favorite place

The women who checked me in was very nice. The room itself was not that clean there was hair and dirt in the tub. There were no tissues in the tissue box. There was one tiny bar of soap no shampoo. The Coffey pot only had one cup for coffee when there was 2 people listed as staying. There was a lot of outside noise most of the night from others that were staying or living there. The location of the hotel was convenient to get something to eat and access the highway but other than that not my favorite place.

check-in was 3:00, I arrived about 3:40. Could not get first floor room but was given a 2nd floor room. Took 2 small overnight bags and cooler up the old, metal outdoor stairs -- fearing a fall. Room was clean. Took dog out for walk, he fell down the stairs but unfortunately was not hurt. I had to carry him on down and back up even though I have trouble with left leg and balance. While walking the dog, I discovered people living on back side of hotel after seeing clothes drying on bannisters. Front desk clerk walked by and I asked if rooms were rented for people to live in. He said they rent by week. I asked if it was a safe place, His reply was he had cameras everywhere. I picked my sister (recovering from cancer) up at airport. In addition to her not able to manage those stairs, and neither could I or my dog, we were uneasy in the location. Desk clerk, who was pleasant, upon my check-in had copied my driver's license and that has never happened before making me uneasy I sat in the room until time to go to airport but did not even turn down bed or use towel -- used one wash cloth to dry my hands after using toilet. I would love a refund. This hotel is apparently used by people needing a place for a week but not by women or families traveling. I would appreciate a refund.
