"Very quaint and laid back ambience. Normally travellers like us (retired professionals) might not connect with this sort of hostel, but we loved it. Just the kind of place we used to stay in 50 years ago, lots of young (and a few not so young) guests hanging out, doing cooking reading and very impressively clearing up afterwards. "The hotel is spotless and staff are friendly and hardworking. Room furniture is old style, yet perfectly functional, mattress was comfy and linen pristine. Junior suite is massve, we were told we had an upgrade however the suite we got is what we had booked. We went AI and while the selection wasnt massive, it more than met our needs. "The staff was polite and helpful, the view from the room was outstanding, the food was good. The only issue was the noise made by the chairs in the dining room from the 14th floor but if you wake up before breakfast and go to bed after dinner, it is not an issue."
