"I really needed a room change , there were three of us and the beds were not big enough, the staff were abrupt and did not really try to accommodate us so that there were three beds for us to use or even a rollaway bed, the rooms are very tiny and there is no place to sit down in the room only a couple of chairs outside, there is no refrigerator , so no ability to keep drinks cold. "Hotel Los Lagos is the best hot springs resort at Arenal. The price is reasonable, the hot springs are great, the slide is fun, the breakfast is fantastic, the staff is helpful and friendly. I cannot say a bad thing about this resort, everything was great. This was my 2nd visit this year, and, I have visited this resort, maybe 8 or 10 times over the years."

"Room and property are beautiful. They offer breakfast but wasn't able to try it due to our scheduling didn't coordinate with their 7am start time. That is one thing I would change is maybe have breakfast start at 6 for people going on tours so they can eat first. They did provide one day a to go box the night before with sandwich and fruit which was nice.
