A good place to relax and unwind including a super delicious restaurant. Only thing you have to be aware of, that there is absoultely NO tourism infrastructure around this place! No restaurants, no shops, no nothing! Nearest town is 40 mins. by local transport. But if you're looking for a calm and tranquil place to forget about...

"We really enjoyed our stay in the lagoon paradise resort and even decided to stay one day longer than initially planned. You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who visits Tangalle! Special thanks also to the staff (especially Weerasena & Thisara) who were more than welcoming."

"What can I say about the best 4 nights/ 5 day stay at the stunning Uga Prāva? Impeccable, luxurious, relaxed, elegant, extremely friendly staff (Prem is one wonderful butler), delicious food. The attention to detail is on- point, everything from the seamlessly understated decor, to the gorgeous infinity pool, gardens, view out over the Indian Ocean, quiet, seriously comfortable suites, .. "Our stay was amazing. The accommodation is very beautiful, calm and peaceful. Everything was very clean and in perfect conditions. The accommodation is directly located next to a small lake and we saw some monkeys and peacocks. The breakfast and dinner was great and the best food we had during our entire stay in Sri Lanka. "An amazing place to stay! Rooms are comfortable and clean with great facilities including a delicious food at their restaurant and a relaxing pool. The staff set up a great full day safari for us with meals included. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. "

"The Cabanas was very spacious and nice. There is NO hot water for a shower which is not mentioned in the posting. There is not a separate "sitting area." The cabana is in a beautiful setting but you have to take a Tuk Tuk to town. It is next door to a restaurant. The breakfast is the traditional Sri Lankan Breakfast. Please note that they do not accept credit cards (which is poor) so you have to pay in local currency."

"Had trouble at first with staff saying booking didnt go through so had to contact hotels via X to sort out. The one staff was a great guy, so freindly and helpful, i was in the area to visit national park and he arranged this for me. Only problem with hotel is internet did not work, and no phone reception in that area either. "
