Ontbijt sober. Ontvangst was er niemand, maar sleutel lag klaar met briefje. Er was wel een bar, maar dat was zelfservice. Kamers waren schoon, maar verouderde badkamer.

Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück ist sehr minimalistisch. Sauna nur gegen hohen Aufpreis. Kühlschrank im Zimmer kühlt leider nicht genug.

Great location walking distance to the town centre . Great view from our room staff were very friendly limited english. The only down side is a walk up a steep slope to get to the hotel .

Hotel wirkt heruntergekommen. Auf dem Balkon hat es überall rausstehende Nägel. Keine Klimaanlage, es war sehr heiss! Konnten Balkontüre nicht offen lassen, da Zimmernachbarn Raucher waren. Sehr ringhörig. Nachbarn haben bis in alle Nacht telefoniert und ferngesehen....Reception unbesetzt. Schlüssel waren hinterlegt. Türschloss klemmt, haben Schlüssel nicht mehr ohne Hilfe aus dem Schloss gekriegt. Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend.

Hotel review

Although I only stayed for three nights the staff were excellent, they had little or no problem speaking English. The breakfast was excellent quality and sufficient. The surroundinds where beutiful once you have managed initially locate the hotel. There were A number of supermarkets nearby and within easy walking distance.

Ingen service men pænt og rent

Der var ingen service da vi ankom, selvom det var lige kl. 15 hvor de skulle have været der. I et nøgle skab hang en nøgle til andet værelse end det vi var tildelt. Hotellet virkede lukket, men der var dog lidt andre gæster. Elendig bruser men Morgenmaden var rimelig ok

Außen hui innen pui

Die Außenansicht des Hotels ist sehr sauber und schön. Bereits am Empfang fiel mir die Renovierungsbedürftigkeit bereits auf. Das erste mir zugewiesene Zimmer war offensichtlich noch bewohnt bzw. Betten nicht hergerichtet und gebrauchte Handtücher waren im Zimmer verteilt. Das zweite Zimmer war sehr klein und mit 3 Betten ausgestattet. Die Möbelierung bedarf dringend einer Erneuerung. Der Teppich erzählt duch die Flecken seine eigene Geschichte dich ich gar nicht wissen möchte. Das in moosgrün gehaltene Badezimmer ist so klein, dass es mir nicht möglich war mich bei geschlossener Tür abzutrocknen, die Toilettenbenutzung könnte für Schwergewichtige problematisch werden. ´Die auf dem Bett liegenden Handtücher waren nicht nur feucht sondern noch nass und mussten ausgetauscht werden, ebenso die Bettdecke. Von der Hotellterrasse konnte das gesamte Zimmer eingesehen werden. Die Rezeption ist nur bis 19.00 Uhr besetzt. Sauna oder ein Besuch des Restaurants waren nicht möglich. Nach 19.00 konnte ich im Hotel auch nichts mehr zu trinken erhalten und musste ins Dorf laufen. Das Frühstück bestand aus einem lieblos dahingestellten Buffet - die Auswahl war im Vergleich zu anderne 3 Sterne Hotels sehr gering. Die Brötchen waren offensichtlich aufgebacken. Die Wurstauswahl vom Discounter. Die Tische waren nicht eingedeckt. Das zur Verfügung stehende Geschirr war noch feucht. Der Kaffe war in einer 3 Liter Warmhaltekanne und schmeckte dementsprechend.

Wir hatten mehr erwartet

Wir hatten mehr erwartet. Die Enttäuschung wäre nicht so groß gewesen, wenn die Beschreibung mehr mit der Realität übereingestimmt hätte. Unser Zimmer war etwas in die Jahre gekommen, im Treppenhaus hingen die W-Lan-Router schräg an der Wand, die Kabel dazu baumeln darunter, der Kaffee war einer der schlechtesten, den ich je vorgefunden habe. Aber am schlimmsten war es für mich, das erste Mal (als Vielreisender) in einem Hotel einen Unfall gehabt zu haben. Der Terrassenstuhl brach unter mir zusammen. Ich hatte eine Schürfwunde am Unterarm. Und es lag nicht an meinem Gewicht alleine, denn der Stuhl hatte einen Vorschaden, der zugegebenermaßen wohl schwer zu entdecken war. Ich will das Hotel aber nicht ganz so schlimm erscheinen lassen. Die Lage ist sehr schön, die Unterbringung unserer Räder war problemlos, und wir wurden auch nett behandelt. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Blick. Immerhin kam man mir wegen des kleinen Unfalls beim Bezahlen entgegen, allerdings nicht freiwillig sondern erst auf Nachfrage.

Awesome Hotel in an awesome location!

Such a beautiful location! Very accessible to the rest of Black Forest, Germany. Natalya, the hotel owner was extremely welcoming, and flexible in allowing for a very late check in. She made sure we had a great stay, and provided us with great ideas on things to do in the area. Loved the hotel, the area, and her!
