"What a beautiful and serene place Ashdown Park Hotel is. I’ve been waiting a while to stay here and the anticipation was totally fulfilled. The history, the scenery, the rooms and the food; everything is excellent. We came for a one night stay as a gift for my wife’s 40th birthday. The massage treatment she had in the spa was fantastic quality and we spent a long time in the spa just relaxing. "Room was huge with a large comfy king size bed. Plush dressing gowns and towels. Air con didn’t cool the room down very much and although I had a balcony couldn’t leave the door open as room was near the road. Not that you heard it with the door shut. Lovely hotel. Great location an beautiful views. "
