"Very convenient hotel for walking the Llanberis path. Great garden bar and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Staff very friendly and our room was pretty modern looking. Only slight negative is wobbly taps in the bathroom and it's a bit of a maze getting to the third floor. But would stay here again. 5 minutes walk to train up Mt Snowden and bus stop to other paths up the hill. Excellent example of a round tower behind the hotel and a scenic lake to have a swim in behind the bus stop."

"The staff and service was exemplary - I had to check out before the normal start of breakfast (8:30) but the team cooked my breakfast early. I can't rate that highly enough. The room was very clean, and bed comfortable, though it is fair to say the room was a little tired, and the bathroom would really do with upgrading (over bath shower wasn't particularly effective). I love the quaint old lift - I imagine it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but for me it was a highlight - though my room...

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and was great value for money. Hotel was clean, the staff were superb, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was of great quality. Hotel slap bang in the middle of the town, so great position. Nothing at all to grumble about. Whilst we had no parking problems in May, it could be difficult to park at weekends and in peak season. There is a big car park 5 min walk away."
