"Very nice property if you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle, but if you plan to visit the city, it is a bit far off from the tourist areas. Also, there is very limited dining options in the evening in the immediate vicinity, and not everyone would be comfortable walking in this area after sunset. That being said, the property is beautiful, the rooms clean, and the staff/owners were very friendly and helpful."

"The room was clean and well appointed, nice shower and bed, so no complaints there. We had hoped that the balcony would be a place to sit and relax in the morning, but the small chair and table barely fit in the narrow space and the balcony wall too high to see over when seated. The “Mountain View” is literally a view to the top of one mountain, otherwise you look over grass to a few banana trees blocking the view. The front desk closes at 8 and they are the ones that give out WiFi codes,...

"A nice hotel in a big park simple 70th style but very OK for the price. Location is a 10min wallk to the park/hotel entrance at the main road then a 20 min walk along that main road to the "Golden Triangle". Ask for the free shullte to and from hotel at park entrance. Hall of Opium is also there (highly recommended) that is an advantage."

"This is a budget hotel - so don`t expect anything more. It is good value for money and in a location about 10 - 15 minutes walk from Chiang Saen centre. There are no cafes close to the hotel so be prepared to walk or take a ride to the centre of Chiang Saen. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"While this is very good value for money and the staff are wonderful, there was no escort to the room or assistance with luggage. The bathroom needed attention to the area around the tub and large ants came out in numbers from gaps in the shower tiles. When staying at country hotels and inns in Thailand, guests should understand that insects etc are part of the experience, as we do. "Photos lie, probably taken ages ago. The room was less than basic, uncomfortable hard mattress (and I've lived in Thailand for many years), 1 small pillow, no toiletries, not so clean room, dusty balcony, wood chairs no pillows. Breakfast was terrible. I understand 100% they don't offer breakfast buffet in these difficult times (it felt like we were the only guests), but Nescafe and Coffee Mate?? We are in the coffeeland! The quality of the food was bad, with the exception of 2 super fresh eggs...

"The hotel is very nice nice and well kept, however the pool was not terribly inviting. Large rooms comfortable beds and a large breakfast served. No places within walking distance and 7-11 is at least a mile walk as well. Great if you have transportation and good jumping off spot to Doi Tong and border of Myanmar."
