I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. "In the heart of countryside sits this lovely manor and only a short walk away from the nearest town. If you want a simple stay with an easy breakfast and delightful, kind and helpful staff this is the place you want. Visited 3 times and shall be using again."

"The property is very nice. Looked very new inside and very clean. There were a few hiccups. The shower cut off for about 30 minutes in the middle of a shower. There were no linens for the sofa bed. The bar and restaurant are closed on Monday and Tuesday and I wasn't advised of this until I had already arrived in the UK. If it were not for those things, I would have given 5 stars."
