"Quiet, quaint, comfortable. Steps off a busy avenue you can hear birds and waterfalls. The "comfort" room was charming and had an onsen (soaking tub) large enough for two. "The location is a 10, but we were put in a room on the west wing that was 10 x 10. The bed touched the desk chair and we had to get it removed to move around the room. The bed was a hard boxspring. We asked for an expedia upgrade as we were too tired the late night before. They said they were not affiliated. They did move us and that room was lovely. The pool was closed for renovations, which was a disappointment and why we chose this hotel. Desk staff were grumpy on arrival. Won't go back. But great location"
