The Woodlands Hotel is a great place to stay...close the the visitors center. Breakfast was well maintained and as far as coffee goes at hotels, this was pretty good. I recommend staying at the Woodlands Hotel when you come to Colonial Williamsburg

The hotel was in a beautiful rustic setting in the woods. It was also extremely convenient to be situated next to the visitor center which had free bus shuttle service to Colonial Williamsburg.

This is always my go to place to stay in CW. Clean, friendly staff, great features such as cornhole, table tennis, volleyball, and mini golf, plus they’re getting the pool and splash pad renovated. Breakfast is fabulous, and I 100% appreciate the gluten free options and dedicated gluten free toaster too!

The Woodlands was an excellent place to stay. Short walking distance to the visitor center where you catch the bus to Williamsburg. We enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning. Would definitely stay here again!!

Overall a very nice place with a great staff. Location is hard to beat for Colonial Williamsburg visits. Nice breakfast. There seems to be many amenities (pool, fitness,ect) although we did not use any of them. A few upgrades could be made in the room, but it did not affect the overall stay. There may be a restaurant listed, but it is not open. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was nice. I liked the fresh bagels. My husband was disappointed in the lack of options. Muffins were great. Loved the suite. But seems a little outdated. But nice. The desk staff checked us in early and was very nice.

Next door to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center, which is a great benefit. The hotel also has a free daily breakfast, though there is little variation in what is served. For example, we had seven breakfasts there, and no bacon was ever served. The room was quiet, and the hotel provides daily room service—which I have not seen since before Covid. The maid staff is friendly and willing to work with the guests.
