The pictures online misrepresent the breakfast. They only have cereal and donuts, no waffles. The breakfast room was very clean and had real fresh flowers on the tables. The rooms are spacious and roomy and very clean. They are slightly old looking in the bathroom, but clean. The rooms smell slightly musty, but overall are nice. The motel is convenient to old town and restaurants. The price was great. I would stay again.

The room was musty with the wallpaper peeling and a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. The a/c and heat unit did not work. The bed was adequate. The sliding bolt on the door was completely missing. The breakfast was Folger’s, sugary cereal and miniature powdered donuts. We won’t be back.

Staff is very attentive but property needs remodeling. The one thing that made my stay not perfect was that fact the room didn’t have its own ptac unit causing us to request a fan due to the ac only been controlled for the building and not the individual room.

There was black mold all in the bathroom. I wore my crocks to take a shower. The ceiling had brown spots as if water was leaking from the roof.

It nice place but needs repair and maintenance. I found a dead roach int eh bathroom. The carpets desperately need cleaning/replacement.

Room was clean. Thermostat was not working. Room was set at 50 degrees and the room was an oven. Don’t go by the picture in the ad for the breakfast area. It was nothing like the picture. Only had cereal and mini muffins.

Ok stay
For the price the room was good. It was clean and location was great. Only complaint was the people who seemed to either be employees or long term tenant arguing and fighting for over an hour at 1030 at night in the room beside us. Witnessed same people fighting out in front of room earlier in the trip.

Great old moter lodge the rooms were clean and spacious staff were very freindly and helpfull. You can walk right in to Colonial Williamsburgans the restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay here again.

Worst hotel stay of my life
Horribly dirty. Wallpaper peeling. No hot water. Worst stay in a hotel I’ve ever had including third world countries.

Got to our room after checking in and was immediately assaulted by the most intense smoker smell I’ve ever had the misfortune of being present too. Walked around and found ashes on the bathroom window sill and was greeted by the friendly neighborhood cockroach-man. Needless to say we did not stay the night.

This hotel was rated a 7.6! That is not even close to reality. The room reserved was a KING bed with a sleeper sofa, got 2 double beds. They didn’t even have our Expedia reservation in their system. It just wasn’t what was advertised.

The property was quiet and safe even though I believe the locals stay there. The room itself is dated 70s with wallpaper and drop ceilings. The bathroom probably 80s. You can feel the coil in the mattress. The microwave didn't work. And there was no hot water for shower on Sunday. Many of the best breakfast are close by, along with the lower end of historic Williamsburg in walking distance. We were out for a long weekend, so we made the best out of it with little complaint except the hot water. The rating is misleading just to let you know.

It was nice to be able to park directly in front of the door. The staff was friendly and check in was a breeze. No issues with the room. When we asked for additional blanket and pillow for my little one it was provided with no fuss.

Property is convenient to history Williamsburg. Check in was humiliating. Not do to the hotel. They were able to fix the problem. My insert was do to Expedia. When I arrived at the hotel to check in. They indicated they did not have my reservation which I had confirmation and had booked months in advance. Apparently Expedia did not send over my reservation to the hotel. Luckily they had a room available and was able to get me in. This was the first problem I’ve encountered with Hotels.com. It was humiliating and nerve racking especially being the first day of our vacation.

Please beware of this motel. It is the dirtest I;ve ever seen with old dust caked on the surfaces, carpet so smelly and stained would not walk on it without shoes. The a/c had to be controlled by front desk. The breakfast area a mess with cereal all over counter and floor, no waffle maker and milk and juice served out of gallon containers for all. Bedspread I am sure not cleaned in between guest and stained furniture... the list goes on. Springs in mattress could be felt Plus I was charged double the going price online. I thought Expedia was suppose to give me the best price. I will never book thru you again.

Room was comfy and large, with plenty of lights and had a fridge and microwave. Curtains worked well for darkness and love being a short drive to campus and colonial Williamsburg. Staff was friendly and helpful and the rate couldn't be beat.

Run 100 miles, an hour in the other direction!
Absolutely, horrible! I will never stay here again. Our non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke to the point where I got a migraine. The front desk receptionist refused to let us switch rooms. She said it was a packed house, yet there were only four cars in the parking lot the entire weekend. The shower did not work. The beds itched like crazy. There were two towels, one a hand, towel and water bath towel for two grown adults. Absolutely the worst day ever and I travel once a month on business. I will never be back to this hotel, nor will I ever recommend it to anybody .

Not enjoyable. Seriously gone downhill.
We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years but unfortunately it has continued to go downhill over the past year. We were there over the past weekend and there were active live roaches in the bathtub and faucet, stains on the floors/carpets/bed linens/and chair, the smoke detector was ripped out of the wall and there was not another one in the room or outside of the room. The AC in the room would not work properly, it stayed at the same coldness and force no matter what we moved the switch to. The toilet also would not flush without pushing down the plunger in the back of the water holder. The lack of real "breakfast food" is also an issue. They did provide very stale cereal, powdered and chocolate mini-donuts, and a few pieces of fruit if you get there early enough. They also do not provide housekeeping no matter how long your stay. The beds and pillows are old and not comfortable at all. The lack of care for the building and the people staying in it is very evident and disheartening.
