Work trip
I have stayed here a couple of times now for work, the staff are always friendly and helpful and the breakfast is always cooked just right. This stay it was rather warm and there is no air-conditioning, so i was given a room fan, not the most effective, but the thought and attention to detail was veryuch appreciated. Would i stay here again...... Yes

Worst night sleep ever
i was using this Hotel as a overnight stop before a early start on Saturday morning, the welcome was friendly and the staff was great however on checking in I was told that no staff would be available onsite after 11pm and if required anything a phone number would be on the reception desk. Food was good and accommodation was really clean and comfortable however at 4.30am the people occupying the room next to mine decided to return to the room and basically woke me up and chatted till 6:30am, because the walls are so thin it felt like we were all in the same room and I really hope the female found her lighter as it seemed to cause her great distress. If your lucky enough to get considerate people in the room next to yours then you will get a good nights sleep however i didn't and as no staff were on site nothing could be done.

This is a family run hotel where the staff are brilliant! They couldn't do enough to help. All staff we incredibly friendly. The food was very good too

Chase hotel
Nice hotel, friendly staff breakfast okay but need to freshen teapot up more often. Room clean with comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities in room and a fan which was great as the room was warm, also had iron and ironing board in room if needed.

Hidden gem.
Absolutely tremendous stay. Visiting Whitehaven for the first time and loved the town and the hotel. Exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, great breakfast and the rooms were immaculate. Well done, I'll return.

Great hotel good value
Excellent hotel plenty of parking Decent rooms with en-suite and toiletries Bar and restaurant- food was good we ate their both nights and a large beer garden no real ale when we were there which was a shame as that’s my triple. Staff were very friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough Great breakfast

Very nice smart friendly hotel, a home from home
Very friendly prompt efficient attentive service from the staff, especially from Linda on Saturday and the breakfast staff in the morning, spacious room and a very comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, convenient location

Great weekend
Our room was very clean, very comfy bed, spotless bathroom with great shower, staff were so welcoming and breakfast was amazing, my birthday weekend was just great, definitely stay again and highly recommend

Very memorable stay, I highly recommend this hotel
I had a great relaxing time this weekend. I came to Whitehaven for the rugby league on Sunday. Just after I arrived on Saturday evening, in the bar/restaurant I had a delicious Roast Beef Silverside, two tasty pints of Jennings Cumberland Cream, and the 1970s music was great. A big thank you to Linda and the other barmaid/waitress, the chef on duty that evening, the chambermaid, and the receptionist on Monday morning. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. All being well I'll return to West Cumbria soon and I'll certainly stay here again.
